WouldMillion.com Spam

Have you heard of WouldMillion.com, I had found this on my spam email today. Apparently, this site looks exactly like the original.. see picture below..

We highly suspect that this is one of the Phishing scams crawling the web today, and targets Usenet users. If we are not mistaking, they employ the same scam tactic, wherein they disguise as a Canadian Pharmacy website, where they sell drugs like Viagra and other meds, however, the truth is, they don't have these drugs, they are not a Canadian Pharmacy or is affiliated with a Canadian Pharmacy, so when you buy products from this site, consider your money stolen.

Using our knowledge of the Internet, we further traced the source.. here is what we got..

Well, it looks like the Chinese again, but there's no certainty if it was really the Chinese. However, thanks to modern technology, the emails sent by this company would most likely not reach your Inbox as they are immediately filtered and sent to your Spam/Bulk folders, where they rightfully belong. So, unless, you are fond of reading spam emails, you will unlikely be able to read such fraudulent emails.

2008mails: Year of the RAT!

Welcome to the year 2008. In Chinese astrology, 2008 is the year of the rat, and once you browse this site, you'll instantaneously smell the stench of a rat! Yes, you read it right.. RAT, and don't expect to find some cheese.. Here are the offers that you wouldn't want to give a rat's ass..

· Free Memberships.
· Get Paid by clicking!
· All Emails Worth $2000 (Oh, my.. cheese! Not!)
· All ptc worth $1000 (My rat..)
· $2000 signup bonus (Get rich instantly? My rat!)

· 2008Mails.com is not a multi-level marketing site!
· This is a Pay Per Action Site and the membership is completely free to join.
· You are not required to recruit or sell anything in order to get paid.

And with all the high offers, you would be surprise to discover how cheap they offer advertising packages. This only proves that this site is a hack, and is nothing but ponzi. Do not upgrade or even promote the site, if you don't want to cry this 2008. And by the way, cursing and yelling may be a part of joining this site, so don't join or you may break your New Year's Resolution.

Velocity Clicks: New PTC Scam

Velocity ClicksWe have just heard the news about VelocityClicks, a nice looking site with a scammer on board. This site is making fake testimonials to convince people to join, but fact of the matter is, they didn't pay. The lousiest part of their scam is that they use the names of their members without permission and publish them for the testimonials. Now, that's double jeopardy on the part of the members. Imagine, you don't get paid, and then, use you to cover their holes..

On further research, we also heard the name Eric Lew, a V.I.P. when it comes to scam. It also happens that he's the one who owned the site.. This, of course, spells trouble. So, if you're a member of VelocityClicks, we advise you to quit. Riding on VelocityClicks will really throw you off the wall.

The cloak of deception

VelocityClicks no longer have a contact information, you'll also get no reply from the admin using the vcnetwork@hotmail.com, furthermore, the forum seems to be down, or maybe, it was closed by the admin to conceal the dirty works.

The site still has members who visit, and probably, clicking the ads. The scammer is taking the opportunity to rake money while he still can. The admin also seems cunning enough to close the forum as to prevent any further leaks of information.

Purchases refunded?

Of course not. VelocityClicks is a scam site, and since that's the case, any money invested on this site is most probably gone.. that's how fast VelocityClicks steal your money.. You may try contact the admin, but we pretty much doubt that he will answer your call.

Cash-Hi paid me again!

cash-hi.com

Cash-Hi paid me again! They paid me another 15 cents, and it's added to my previous pay which was 32 cents, so all in all, I accrued 42 cents from Cash-Hi. This proves once again that the PTR site Cash-Hi is indeed a paying site and remains as a paying site up to this day.

Here's proof of my pay..

Cash-Hi Proof

Cash-Hi Improvements

Cash-Hi has improved since the last time I checked.. they now have 4,264 members. If they keep up their good reputation, you can expect them to keep on growing.

2-opt: comes up with a unique scam tactic

Among the sites to be added on the scam list is 2-opt.com. The offers they have is as confusing as the site itself. When I browsed this site, I cannot understand what the hell they are talking about. All I understand is that they are giving away prizes every month through sweepstakes, as for the rest.. oh well, they are talking about nickel or something, they must mean 5 cents or perhaps, a metal. LOL. And for every member you refer, they give a 10, 10 what? Maybe.. 10 Little Indians? 10 Numbing Fingers? Or maybe 10 cents.. like I said, confusing..

The interesting part that attracts attention here on this site is the monthly prizes, they are just giving away IPODs and other expensive items, unfortunately, there's no way you can get em. The site functions as PTR but with a unique twist, you read the email and review sites. I've not heard any site offering something like this, and it could have been a good business tactic, too bad, it was use for the wrong intentions.

Site Maintenance Issues and Scam

There are errors on the site, maybe due to lack of maintenance. The site appears to be dead, maybe since the GPTBoycott, however, I have seen some still functioning links, and as a matter of fact, you can still sign up on this site.. if you wanted to get scammed that is. I've also researched this site on the Internet, and I've found some old records of people who got scammed by this site, eventually leading to the boycotting of the said site.

Learning Yuwie and building my network of Friends

YuwieJust a few days ago, I have written an article entitled "Social Networking that Pays!," it talks about Yuwie, a social networking site that shares its profits with its active members. I have joined Yuwie a week ago, but because of work, I couldn't stay active for too long, what I did was add some new friends, do them some favor, comment a little, message a little, and leave. Yet, my network grew in 1 week time. My current Yuwie stats is 1,159 page views + 1,049 referral views. Not bad if you ask me. I'm a newbie to this site, so I am currently trying to understand how MLM (Multi-level marketing) works.. actually, this is the kind of business Yuwie is involved with. Some may say that Yuwie is a pyramid or ponzi scheme, some may even go as far as saying that it is scam.. But no.. Yuwie is not a pyramid or ponzi scheme nor it is scam.. it is MLM but never a pyramid scheme, I'll explain why..

Pyramid/Ponzi versus MLM

Let's start with Ponzi.. what is a Ponzi scheme anyway? A Ponzi scheme is fraudulent investment operation that involves abnormally high returns (profits) to investors out of the money paid in by subsequent investors, rather than from net revenues generated by any real business, examples of these are HYIP (High Yield Investment Programs), while not all could be considered illegal, most of these programs are unstable and have a high tendency to run away with your money. Some countries prohibit these type of business because of the high risk involve.

In this type of program, you invest your money on a program with a promise of high returns, despite the fact that your money may be put at risk. Remember, that the program does not always win, and you never know where your money goes.. it could be invested on illegal activities as far as I'm concerned, and there is no guarantee that it will return. Also note that Ponzi schemes offer referral bonuses as a means to expand their network, but the high risk involve means to differ.

Now, let's move to Pyramid schemes.. Pyramid schemes are non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, usually without any product or service being delivered. The system works with the top referrer on top of the mountain while his downlines works for him as virtual slaves (ie. offers low reciprocal returns or no returns at all). In this system, the only capital is the mouth and the tongue.. you may add saliva to mix it up. As bad as it sounds, both Ponzi and Pyramid schemes are somewhat bogus by nature.

With the definitions in place, let's define MLM (Multi-level Marketing) or also referred to as Network Marketing.

MLM is a business distribution model that allows a parent multi-level marketing company to market their products and services directly to consumers by means of relationship referral and direct selling. In this system, there is also a top referrer who guides his network to progress. And since, the people below (referred to as downlines) serve as foundation, a teamwork may be necessary to sustain the entire group. In this type of system, the uplines have to help their downlines if they wish to preserve their team's stability. If the downlines collapse, the uplines go with them. So, if you look at this closely, you could see that MLM is a fair business model and is actually based on teamwork. Moreover, MLM is an accepted business model worldwide. Yuwie belongs to this model because of the following reasons..

1.) There are products and services. Your Yuwie account is actually a free service. Yuwie pays all the domain and bandwidth expenses for the sake of its members.

2.) There is a top-referrer who builds up a network, but since there is no money involve, nothing is lost. The group is self-sustainable, each member could become top referrer if he/she wants to. Moreover, you have the freedom to decide whether you would or would not expand your network. However, if you wanted to earn more, of course, it's only fair that you have to work for it.

3.) The referral system also works through teamwork.

4.) Yuwie is also promoting itself through referrals.

Finally, MLM is not a scam, therefore, Yuwie is not a scam. Furthermore, there are people who already got their pay.

Yuwie profit sharing system

Yuwie earns from their advertisers, every social networking does.. these serve as their life blood. Every hit and ad view generated from your page views gains Yuwie a profit. Yuwie shares this through a system I am yet to understand.

Alone, you have to be very active in order to reach your payout (Minimum of $25), it would take you approximately months to a year to get it depending on your activity, and sadly, the payout is not worth it. Many could not even reach this goal. The only way to meet this is to have referrals, and make more friends. Let the system work for you.. The bigger your network, the more page views you can generate, the more money you can earn. And, even if you can't earn, isn't it providing you a social network fun not enough? So, why not join? You got nothing to lose. It's FREE!

Join my Network

To those who wish to join my network, please sign up below..

Sign Up for a Yuwie Account

The advantage of joining under me is that you can be introduced into my network, where you can be seen by my friends and likewise, get page views. Joining alone is OK, but, that option means you're on your own..

As soon as I can get more information about Yuwie, I'll post it here on my blog.

10-Cash: A Newly discovered Scam Site

10-cash-mailIt's already 2008, and this is supposed to be a wake up call for scammers, but what the heck, scammers still stick to the old ways. Hello... people are getting smarter nowadays, and if you think you could easily trick them with flashy antics, guess again!

One of the sites that sticked to the old school scam formula is 10-Cash. A newly discovered PTR Scam site that offers $10 per email, $200 sign-up bonus, and pays at $1000 (as if they own the bank). On further review, they also offer advertising packages at a price similarly offered by well-known scam sites, plus, they also affiliate themselves with the said sites. So, what does this mean?

Scam Formula used by this site

It's the same scam formula used by scammers over these past few years. High payout + Low cost advertising. As you can see, no true PTC/PTR site could survive these kind of offer. Just imagine, a site paying $10 for each PTR mail. An advertiser may advertise for 60,000+ visits for only $40 dollars, but since each ad is worth $10, completing the package could cost the site a whooping $60,000 lost for member payments. So, using simple mathematics, you could conclude that the site is gaining a $40 versus a $60,000 lost, $60,000 - $40, you get a $59,960 lost for the site base on one advertiser alone. So, once again, ask yourself, how does this site survives? Only one way - to scam people.

2-dollar-mail for real? Just Kidding!

2-dollar-mailLadies and Gentlemen... on the scam corner, bearing two dollars, 2-Dollar-Mail! OK, enough of the boxing stuff.. however, join this site and you sure could get knocked out! This is not a winning corner, it's simple scam!

The page looks professional and I must compliment the designer for such a wonderful design, but, how's that going to change its reputation?

Sniffing the Scam

Assuming I am the bloodhound, I walk around the site, and tada.. I smell something fishy! The fishy thing starts with the $1 PTR offer.. it's too high for a site who has nothing but looks, and when I move into the Advertising Packages page, whoa.. lots of out-of-sync advertising offers, and they even offer advertising on other scam sites, which are probably owned by the same people who owned this site. With that.. the bloodhound growls then.. Bow wow wow!

This prematurely ends our review...

MyBux.in got Hacked

This occurred two days ago, the new PTC site owned by a female member of Uronlinebiz got hacked. Actually, this was not the first misfortune this site had endured, the first one was when the webhost closed it down for breaking the TOS, wherein it is stated that PT sites are not allowed. The site owner was forced to build everything from scratch, and give people their referrals back. Apparently, she managed to get the site running again. However, on March 23-24, a hacker broke in and destroyed the website, databases, and hijacked the admin's Paypal and Email Accounts, she was in tears while telling the sad news. She is now in the process of paying back all the members for upgrades and referral fees, and it seems she had lost the will to try and build up MyBux again.

According to sources, the MyBux project was a personal therapy project to get over a sad family tragedy a few months ago and when the site got destroyed a second time it simply got too much.

Changing of Passwords

Since the hacker of MyBux had gained access to vital informations of the MyBux site, all members of MyBux are recommended to change their passwords on other PT sites. The hacker may have obtained some member information, and may attempt to use this information to hack into other accounts as well. As the saying goes.. there is no limit to human greed, this applies most especially to pigs!

IncomeBux at Webspacemania?

Of all the PTC sites I joined so far, I find IncomeBux.webspacemania.com, the weirdest of them all. Imagine a PTC site hosted on a free server (as if it does not have any budget to afford a domain), No Forum support (meaning, here, you're on your own), No Confirmation Emails (You may login right after signing up), and No Lost Password Support, Oh wait, they do have a Lost Password Support, but when you request for your password, you get an error message saying that it was disabled for security reasons (Odd isn't it?). On top of that, the name IncomeBux is not a unique name, many other sites uses it, with the oldest of them probably IncomeBux.com. The webstats here seemed kinda odd as well, it got a lot of members (6000+), but with a total paid of $250+ only when it's easy to reach the $1 payout limit. They also seem to be breaking their own TOS (Terms of Service) or perhaps they forgot to update it. And while the site offers are reasonable, one could still have doubts of the reliability of this site.

Scam?

IncomeBux WebspaceMania is a new site so we cannot tell if it is scam as of this time, but base on our observations, IncomeBux webspacemania resembles that of a scam site. The $1 payout could be achieved within 7-10 days without having any referrals, this already seems strange. Personally, I had joined this site and reached my $1 payout, however, when I tried to withdraw, I get an excuse letter saying that they are using Paypal unverified, and there is a limit on how much they could send, therefore, I may have to wait... I knew it, they are gonna pull something like that. So, as soon as I get this kind of message, I immediately quit IncomeBux Webspacemania, you see, there's no point wasting my time on sites like this, hoping to get paid. Only if they pay me, maybe that's when I'm going to resume, but without any proof, I am reluctant to continue.

Personally, I have doubts on this site, I suspect that they don't really have any cash to pay their members, I mean, they couldn't even afford a domain in the first place. It looks to me that this is a business without a capital, only programmers. So, my word to those who wants to join this site is "Be careful."

Phishing Attack!

Actually, this is not something new, you might had already heard this from other sites, heck, you might hear this over and over again. Fighting cyber criminals has been going on for years now, yet, they are still here, it just shows that some online scumbags simply don't know when to give up. You see, just this morning, I received an email (spam type) from someone who claims himself/herself as Paypal (ehem, my ass), and messaged me in a Paypal fashion way... see picture below...

Click on picture to enlarge it

They say that my Paypal account had been accessed by an unauthorized third-party, and that, as a means of protecting my account, they had temporarily disabled some of its features. Furthermore, they told me to login into my Paypal Account so that I can verify and restore my account access.

OK, let's see.. it does sound like Paypal.. however, if you look at the email's header, the sender was not paypal.com, but megapath.net. Out of curiosity, I decided to trace the source, and guess what.. it's from a Chinese website.

These idiots hide behind the domain Uni-Mon.com, they then redirect you to another site hosted by Yashlek.com, where you can find the Paypal website clone. This is how it looks..

I decided to try, but before that, I had my PC's defenses set to high. I thought I should do that since I'm in a hostile environment, and you never knew, there could be malicious scripts running around the site. Once I had my PC secured, only then that I gave it a try. I put a dummy account..

It gave me an error because I inserted an account with a very long password, and just like the original paypal system, it also checks for errors in the input field. So I put it another dummy account. The one that's acceptable.. only then was I able to login, but the fact is, they got my username and password upon logging in. With that, they can now access my Paypal Account.. But, of course, since it's a dummy account, it contains nothing.. Suckers!

Notes to Remember

Hackers are always looking for holes in defenses. They know they can't penetrate Paypal, so they target those who are prone to attacks - the users. To avoid getting hacked.. Do not display your email ad on just any websites, as spam robots can automatically crawl them and add it to their list. You should not open spam emails, most especially those that claim they are from Paypal. Always check the email's header to make sure that it's really from who they claim to be, however, on some occasion, spammers use email spoofing to conceal their true identity, nevertheless, always check the links before clicking them. Do not click if you are not familiar of the url anchored on that particular link.

Alertpay Bug Issues!

Only recently, I came upon the news about Alertpay, it seems that they are having bugs on their system. The bug occurs when you try to withdraw cash from your Alertpay and transfer it into your bank account, when you do it, the system warns you that you cannot withdraw more than the available balance eventhough you have more deposit than the requested withdrawn amount.

Below is a snapshot of the error.. click on the picture to enlarge..

According to the source, they contacted Alertpay's Customer Support, and seemed to have been ignored. It took them a couple more tries before Alertpay actually responded. This is very unlikely of Alertpay, I recall having some problems with my account on Alertpay in the past, and when I contacted them, I get a prompt reply. However, now seems to be different. It could be possible that the bug is not only limited to the bank transfer protocol, it may have also involved the Contact/Support scripts as well.

Possible Causes

Alertpay seems to be reluctant to tell its members about the current bug issues they were having. The reason is pretty obvious if yo ask me.. they simply don't want to loss their users' trust/confidence on their system. The bug issues had been there earlier, according to other sites and forums dated as early as February 2008, Alertpay had installed new scripts on their site. This move was to install some new features, and most probably, to improve the security of the site, unfortunately, the new scripts seems to had caused some problems on their system. The first bug report, I was able to document, involves logging into the system. This was followed by a downtime, and now.. this.. my guess on this matter is that Alertpay is currently beta testing their site. Actually, they were already into this, but since most PTC sites had transferred into their system due to the Paypal Issue, they had to keep quiet about the matter, and solved it silently. If I were Alertpay, I will of course do the same. You see, opportunity comes knocking on your door only once. They cannot miss this opportunity because of a system problem. But, of course, my opinion here are just possible theories, only Alertpay can really answer these issues.

1-Dollar-Mail: Read Mails for nothing!

1-Dollar-Mail is a site that offers 1 dollar per email you read... when I read $1 per email, I immediately suspect scam. While $1 seems a lil bit realistic compared to scam sites offering enormous amounts such as $50, $100 per email read, $1 is still too much for a PTR site. If such a PTR site would really offer something like this, then they have to sell expensive ad packages to advertisers, however, this is not the case for this kind of scam site. Ad packages are sold at a cheaper price here, if this is how it goes, then certainly this site has more to lose than to earn. So, why are they offering this when they are at the losing end? That's when you start to suspect that this site is really up to something. As you can see, the reason is not because the owner of the site is an idiot. As a matter of fact, they know it very well. They know that they can't pay so they won't, and now you see who's at the losing end.

Always take note that PTR sites are usually low payers, somewhere around $0.001-$0.01 , this is because email solicitation is the cheapest way of advertising today, if a PTR site breaks this trend, then certainly, no advertiser would advertise on their site, and this would eventually result to their downfall. However, in a scam site like 1-Dollar-Mail, this is not the case, and unless you stop patronizing them, they will always win!

How Old is 1-Dollar-Mail?

On their page, I had noticed the texts "All Rights Reserved 1996." It means that this site had been on the web since 1996. If this is true, then surely, 1-Dollar-Mail is one of the oldest PTR Scam sites that's still online today.

10dollar-mail: Nice looking site but worthless!

I looked into the list of Scam sites lately and found some still active ones, among them is 10dollar-mail.com, a nice looking site, which is unfortunately, worthless like all the other scams out there.

Now, you may ask why am I saying that it is scam when I haven't joined it yet? Well, do I really have to? Isn't it enough proof that they are listed as scam on almost every site you can find on the web? Moreover, this scam uses the same tactic used by other certified scam sites, and that is to offer big or something that is unrealistic.

The Sweet Offers

As you can see, what you earn here is enough even if you don't have a job. Is this realistic? Of course not, and if you look at the Advertising package, you'll be surprised to see that the packages are actually cheap. Using the same scam equation, here is what you get... High Pay + Low cost Advertising = SPAM.

This site was obviously made for one purpose - to get your money, and run.

A Scam Site with a Certificate

As I was browsing the Internet today, I stumble upon another site what-appears-to-be SCAM! They even displayed a certificate on their front page.. yeah, they did, as if it really matters. However, despite their tactic, you can still smell scam by just sniffing their offer, which are summarized below:

• Totally free membership
• We are sending Paid e-mails worth €100
only

(Excuse me, 100 euros per email? Even multi-billion companies won't advertise on a PTR site this much, who're they kidding anyway?)

• Cash sign-up bonus: €500

(Cough.., I think I choke on my coffee..)

• Referral Bonus: €50
• We will send more than 10-20 ads a day to active members
• Get Paid for Clicking on ads
• Instant payouts for all members
• Payout via PayPal , Moneybookers, E-gold, Check, and Western Union

(We all know, this won't happen.)

• We Don't Accept Members Using Proxy Or AOL!
• Honest,English Speaking Members only
• Inactive members deleted after 30 days
• Inactive Upgraded members deleted after 40 days

(These are to, at least, make them realistic.)

Furthermore, this is what they offer their advertisers..

* 50,000 Banner Impression - $4.00
* 100,000 Banner Impression - $7.00
* 1,000,000 Banner Impression - $20.00

Proof of Deception

You see how their site earns and how they pay? Compare it! As you can see, it's totally not in sync. Now, you know what this site's really up to. They are only looking for advertisers, they don't really care about their members. They are only going to use their members as slaves to meet their purpose, which is to make money. Don't fall for it! Business certificates don't matter in sites like these!

Bad English, Bad Reputation, Bad Site

Don't let the banner fool you, first of all, there are no 100 Dollar bonus in this site, only bad english texts. I gotta say it, the owner of this site don't even know how to write proper english, and it's kinda stupid if you still fall to this hustlers' propaganda.

The site functions as a PTR that pays $2 per mail, yeah right, as if we don't know that PTRs are actually the smallest payers. This one goes beyond the standard protocol despite the fact that it got nothing to pay its members. It says that they are backed up by a famous network advertising corp. and yet, it's not even offering advertising. Man, this site is impossible.

The $20 signup bonus and no-minimum payout also sounds like bull. If that's the offer, then you can sign-up, get your $20, and leave, and although there is a $8 membership fee, this site won't really be able to survive an abuse of membership if it's true to its words.

How does this site scam people?

When you join for $8, you're automatically enlisted into the list of the scammed. In this site, you're scammed upon joining. Now, don't expect them to return your $8, consider it donated.

Dokeymails Account Deletion Issues and Restoration

DonkeyMails.com: No Minimum Payout

On march 19, 2008, my Donkeymails account was deleted for reasons I am not even aware of, so I contacted the admins through the contact link found on their site. I got no reply. But, I did not gave up hope. I contacted the webmaster again, this time, through the welcome email they had sent me upon joining. I got a reply from the big man himself - Sebas.

He asked me for my username so that he can check on my account, so I gave it to him, and after a couple of days, he had my account restored. He told me that I had two accounts on one PC, but upon looking further, he found out that I am not guilty as charged. Well, it looks like a technical error after all.

What leads to deletion?

I have a hypothesis in mind... what leads to the deletion of account may had been caused by connection problems, bad cookie, spam robots, or a Virus (WORM/Trojan/Adware). Donkeymails has a fraud-protection system that monitors its users' activity. I remember that on the day I got deleted, I got connection problems, so bad that even the Google Search Engine keeps warning me that my query resembles that of a robot, and that I should scan my computer for viruses. When I logged into Donkeymails, the system treated me as a fraudulent user, this may have caused my temporary suspension.

Bad cookies and viruses may also cause the same problems. A cookie is a secret handshake between your PC and the website, this ensures that you are who you are. If its corrupted, you could get identified as another user and this eventually leads to account deletion. Viruses as we know, can cause undesired results to our computer, these nasty programs could tamper our computers' function, and may also be used remotely by those who proudly call themselves hackers. Such is the case that prompts Donkeymails to treat us as fraud.

Well, these are of course, hypothesis, but as a computer sort-of scientist myself, I am aware that these could be possible causes. But, just to make sure of the cause, I asked Sebas what may had really caused the problem, and I'm still waiting for his reply.

Now, I'm happy that I got restored. For those who had been deleted accidentally, you should try contacting Sebas through the Donkeymails welcome email, the email address is there. The Donkeymails contact link seems to be not working right.

Social Networking that Pays!

Did you guys know that you can actually earn money for joining a social networking site? Social Networking sites are those sites that cater people from all over the world, giving them the freedom to use the site to create profiles, invite friends, communicate with friends, create blogs, etc.

Usually, Social Networking sites (ie. Friendster, Myspace, Facebook, etc.) allow people to use their site for free, in return, these sites benefit from people through advertising. These social networking sites earn a lot by making people happy, that's it. But, did you know that there is a social networking site that not only offers the same privileges but also share a portion of their income?

Check out the social networking site below..

This site bases their pay on page views (profiles views, blog views, friend views, referral views, etc.). So, the more you get a page view, the more you earn, which is not bad. Social Networking is fun, and here, you get paid for enjoying it! How about that?

What can you expect from this site?

This site pays for page views, thus, encouraging people to be more active. Therefore, you can expect this site to have high activity.

Yuwie's strategy is an ingenious one. You can expect this site climbing the ladder at a fast rate.

Where to sign up?

You can sign up at the link below...

Sign Up for a Yuwie Account

By the way, since I shared this with you.. how about becoming my friend and use me as your referral? c",)

If you don't, it's OK, but Yuwie will assign you to another referral anyway. Let's just say, someone you don't even heard of.

1-800-Mail Bogus

Want to earn fast? Want to earn 5-20 cents per mail? Call 1-800-SCAM! Yeah, and you'll end up whining and cursing!

This another site for a joke scams people by offering realistic-er like offers, but not so real if you ask me. Check out the offers below and I'll explain why..

Summary:

• FREE Membership
• International Members are Welcome
• All Emails Worth 5,10,15,20 cents !
• All PTC's worth 2 or 5 cents
• 10 Cents per direct referral bonus
• $20 Sign-up Bonus
• $125 Dollar Payout - Fast to reach!
• Monthly referral contest with cash prizes
• Payouts Through eGold/PayPal
• 5 Ref levels of commission under you
Level 1 - 7%
Level 2 - 4%
Level 3 - 3%
Level 4 - 2%
Level 5 - 1%

The not-so-realistic offers here are "All Emails worth 5-20 cents", "$20 Sign Up bonus", and "all PTC's worth 2-5 cents". Why are these ringing the bell. Simple, they are too high! I've seen popular PTC and PTR sites and they couldn't even match these offers. So, if popular PTC and PTR sites can't offer something like these? What is this lousy site boasting? Moreover, they are offering advertisers a Special 5c Solo email (Solo mail - 60 sec timer) to all 135, 436 for ONLY $9.99, Special 1 Month of banner rotations for ONLY $4.00, Special 5000 2c PTC for ONLY $8.00, and Special 50 Signups 20c each for ONLY $13.00, which if you look at it closely, are so cheap! If they are offering high payouts and low-cost advertising, how do you expect them to survive? They would.. BY SCAMMING!

Therefore.. here's the equation..

High Payout + Low-Cost Advertising = SCAM!

And this is 1-800-Mail is all about. Stay clear from this site!

Adverbux: An Introduction

Among the PTC sites I have joined so far is Adverbux, it is a great site, and is one of the legitimate PTC sites out there.

This site pays you $0.025-0.01 for viewing their advertisers' ads, and pays additional $0.001 for every Flash Game you play. On top of that, they also have a pay for sign-up/download system (they call it action ads), and special offers. They also have a Click-Exchange feature, wherein you are given a chance to advertise for free by exchanging impressions (views) with other Adverbux users. And, like every other PTC site, Adverbux also has a referral system to boost a user's earning potential.

Payment Issues

Adverbux pays via AlertPay or Paypal when you reach their minimum cashout limit which is $10. Payment is within 1-14 days.

Legitimacy

So far, I haven't seen any complaints about Adverbux, only praises and testimonies. I guess, this is enough to prove that Adverbux is indeed, a legitimate site.

Expectations from this Site

Adverbux offers some innovative features. They are offering advertisers a low-cost advertising, and a fair earning potential for clickers. The pay to play games feature is pretty neat, it does not only give you money, it also gives you entertainment. And so far, I haven't seen any sites that offers this feature. The Click-Exchange feature is also an interesting part of Adverbux. It gives users a chance to advertise for free, and only few PTC sites offer this feature, therefore I must say, Adverbux is truly one of a kind.

This site could go far if they keep up the good work.

Donkeymails deleted my Account! I don't know why!

When I joined Donkeymails, I feel like an ass, now, I feel like a dumbass. Before I joined this site, I researched its background, and found that this is one paying site, or so I thought because of the many good testimonies that scatter throughout the net about this site. Now, the site, which I came to trust deleted my account without any reasons. When I contacted them and asked what did I do wrong. They gave me no answer. If they are really a good site, should they, at least, give me a valid reason? I mean, I may have touch one of their site booby traps unintentionally, and this prompted them to delete my account. And although I'm sure that I had read and followed all their rules, I'm not perfect, nevertheless, I needed an answer, and they were unable to give one. Now, this is getting really suspicious!

Site Bogus

I had found some bogus on their site. Some of their PTC ads does not credit you for clicking them. Example is the ad of Owen's Click Place. Usually, there is a frame with a timer that monitors your browsing status as you browse the advertiser's ads, but, this ad directly sends you into Owen's Click Place website, which is kinda odd for trustworthy site like Donkeymails.

Is is this a Scam?

I cannot say that yet. But, the site admins did not respond when I contacted them. If I did something wrong, then that means I'm at fault, otherwise, you should avoid this site if you don't want something like this happen to you. Sure, many says they are paying, but personal experience tells it all.

Moreover, Donkeymails is not a true No-Minimum Paying Site. What they claim is true only to E-Gold users. Paypal users may have to wait for $1, which would approximately take you two months if you're most active as a Free Member. And by the time you are about to reach your payout. You might get deleted without any reason. So, basically, you'd wasted your time.

I will give more updates about this site in the following more weeks. Stay tuned..

PTR: Earning is as easy as Reading

As said before, there are many ways to earn from the Internet, and among them are PTR (Pays to Read) programs. This program is somewhat similar to PTC, the only difference is that instead of clicking ads to earn, you have to read mails. PTC requires a user to visit a PTC site to click on the ads there, however, in a PTR, you will be receiving mails/emails, and you get paid for reading them. Whether where the mail should be read (site or email account) depends to the PTR site. The mails that a PTR site sends usually contains a brief or long message that's about the advertiser, or about special offers, but you cannot earn by just opening the email. You see, a PTR site needs to confirm if you really had read the email. So, what they usually do is that they attach a link on the email. You have to click on this link in order to get credited.

Advantages and Disadvantages

PTR is a convenient way to earn. The only problem with PTR is that the pays are usually not that high compared to a PTC. Moreover, PTR sites sometimes sends dozen of emails, filling up your email account. They could have been branded as spam, if not, for the permission you had given them.

PTR usually pays low, and may not be worth the effort, however, PTR sites compensate this by a no-minimum payout, and with a referral system.

PTR Sites

There are numerous PTR sites on the net, and so far, I had joined three sites - Donkeymails, No-Minimum, and Cash-Hi. Of the three, however, Cash-Hi is the only PTR site that truly paid me without a minimum quota. The two PTR sites also offers no minimum payout, however, you must be using E-Gold, otherwise, you'll have to reach $1 before expecting to get your pay. I won't recommend the two because they may not be worth your time. Besides, I have the feeling that these two sites may be semi-scam (not totally scam but may be guilty of scam).

With Cash-Hi, however, I can guarantee that they pay, and without a minimum...

See proof.

I will be adding more PTR sites here sooner or later. So, check us out every now and then. And oh, by the way, check the side bar of the blog. The most recommendable payment processors are listed there, in case you need one.

Google Adsense: An Introduction

You guys might have heard or tried this already, of course, this thing can be found almost everywhere on the net. Most sites harbor them, in fact, they are those things that you would often mistake for links, but in reality, they are advertisements. Yes, they are advertisements promoted by Google. They are called Google Adsense. Unlike any ads, however, Google uses a sophisticated system that employs the help of bots. These bots are not actual robots, but a program.. an algorithm that makes up an A.I. (Artificial Intelligence). These robots serve adsense by crawling a particular site, pick up information and relay it to Google center. With the information gathered, the system then picks for a relevant ad to put in a google adsense harboring website. So, what you get ladies and gentlemen, is an ad that's related to the contents of the site. This is a smart system that's very difficult to copy, and is sure is helping both site owners and advertisers.

Publishers and Advertisers

An advertiser is a company/group or an individual that advertises on Google through the Google Adwords service. A Publisher, on the other hand, is an entity that promotes Google's ads or Adsense. So, how do this two interact and benefit from each other using Google's system? I'll explain the process..

Google gathers its ads through adwords. How to use adwords is a process I am going to explain later on, but for now, let's focus on adsense alone. With the advertiser, Google's smart system searches for the right people (customers/visitors) for their advertiser. How? By finding sites that matches the keywords contained in their ad. So, basically, the ad will be shown on a site that's similar or related to what the advertiser advertises, for example, they sell medicines.. if this is the case, Google will then display their ads on a medical or pharmaceutical site that harbors adsense, and since it's a medical site, it's sure to have some visitors that's interested in medical products. What happens is that the advertiser will get a higher chance of getting its desired prospects - Those people who are interested (potential buyers) in medical products.

Now, an advertiser pays Google for the service. This money is then shared by Google to its Publishers. A Publisher (those people who promotes adsense) earns a portion of what Google earns, of course, Google has to pay them otherwise, you can't expect them to show Google Adsense on their site. So, as you can see, both advertiser and publisher benefits from this system.

Payment System

Google pays for valid Impressions and valid Click-throughs. How much a publisher earns depends on how much an advertiser bids at Google Adwords, and how many impressions and click-throughs earned by a publisher through Google Adsense.

The minimum quota a publisher needs to get before he could request for a cashout is $100. Google pays via numerous payment methods, including check, Western Union transfers, etc. They don't include payment processors (Paypal, Alertpay, etc.) though.

Penalties

Google enforces penalties to those publishers who do not follow the Google Adsense TOS (Terms of Agreement). So, if you're a Google Adsense Publisher, better read the TOS first before doing something you might regret later.

Usually, the penalty for not following the TOS is deletion of account, and banning. Of course, if you got busted, what you had earned will be forfeited.

Is Google a legitimate site?

Google Inc. is a multi-billion dollar company. They hosts numerous websites like Blogger, YouTube, and others more. Perhaps, that should tell you.. To them, scamming people is nothing compared to how much they earn everyday. So, obviously, the answer is yes. It's very legitimate.

How do I get to Google Adsense?

$250 for just a sign up? Wow! Gimme a break here! All Emails worth $100, referral bonus is $300, and pays at $100000? What the hell are they smoking?

If they are to scam people, can't they even make it more realistic? They seem to have some serious delusions kicking in. Every businessman knows that offers like this can get you bankrupted within a day.

Site Errors are everywhere

If you browse their site, you can find more than one site error. It looks like the admins of this site had given up hope of getting more people to fool, as you can see, it appears that the site has not been maintained for quiet some time already, and you can bet that their server is already full of spider webs and dust.

A Blast from the Past!

There are have been reports of people who got scammed by this site. You see, some people had actually reached their payout, then never get paid. Some had even upgraded (paid) and never get their upgrades. What they get instead are sad excuses. Well, at least, they get something.

Got paid by Cash-Hi

cash-hi.com

I joined Cash-Hi for about a month already. I saw it on one of the PTC sites that I had joined. This is what this site offers..

· Membership with this site is totally free.
· Get Paid for Reading and Click.
· No-Minimum Weekly Payout By PayPal.
· Low $0.5 Payout By E-Gold (7% fee,Within 7 Business Days).
· Get Paid to Promote up to $0.8/CPM!
· All Cash Emails worth 0.01 - 1 Cents.
· All Point Emails worth 1 - 5 Points.
· ALL PTC worth 0.01 - 1 Cents.
· All Point PTC worth 1 - 5 Points.
· Points are used to Upgrade, Trade or Redeem Ads.
· 4 Referral levels --- 7%,3%,1%,1%.
· International Members are Welcome (Must Understand English).
· We don't accept Member using Proxy or Cheating.

The offers are reasonable, but what really catches my attention is the No-minimum Weekly Payout by Paypal. I had a paypal account and I wanted it to be constantly filled, so I took the opportunity. To me, cents matter since without these little things, you cannot make out a dollar.

I joined this site without having any referrals, but who cares.. at least, I can fill my paypal account every week. I took the trouble of signing up. At first, I was kinda disappointed.. well, I browse the site in search of any PTC ads, it offers nothing much. I thought to myself, maybe this site is new that's why this is how things run around here. However, I knew after browsing and reading some more, that the site offers points that can be used to Upgrade, Trade, and Redeemed for Ads, so I went into the Point PTC area and found some clickable ads. The only problem I have is that I don't have downlines who could help me, so eventhough they have this Point conversion offer, it would approximately take me months up to a year to qualify for the conversion since it really requires a lot of points. With this thought, I dismissed the Point generating area, and practically logged out.

I thought of not going back, but after a few minutes, emails rang on our Gmail door. Cash-hi had sent me a lot of PTR (Paid to Read) emails. They are usually worth something around $0.01, it's nothing much but they are too many that I could score a cent in just a day. I seldom had emails so I say to myself, why not read the emails, it's better than doing nothing. Inside the email is a link that directs you to Cash-Hi where you can view the advertiser's ad and get credited.

Weeks pass, I lose track of time, I even forgot when exactly did I join Cash-Hi. Everyday, I visit my email and read whatever Cash-Hi sent me, and after some time, I just find out that I already got $0.32 in my Cash-Hi account eventhough I seldom visit the site. This is what I earned for emails alone. I requested for a withdrawal and waited if this site's gonna pay me or not. Of course, if they won't. I would gladly advertise them as a scam. So, did they pay me? check out below..

Cash-Hi pays!

Yes, they did, and it only took them a few days. Cash-Hi is a legitimate site! To prove it, here is a screen shot..

Do I need to say something further? I suppose the pictures are already worth a thousand words..

What to expect from this site?

Cash-Hi's main potential is within the referral system. The way I look at it, it's more than a PTR site than a PTC. Well, you can't expect to get high pays if you're a Free Member on this site, but at least, you can earn extra money out of your spare time here. Anyway, it's better than nothing.

I plan to check out more of this site, and perhaps upgrade in the future, now that I know they can be trusted.

Yahoo and Microsoft planning to merged?

I've read this from more than one sources and it's kinda real. I've been asking myself this question, "Why would the Internet market giants need to merge when they are giants?" Then it hit me.. "Are they losing it?" and when I say "losing", I mean it literally. There have been word for quiet sometime already that Microsoft and Yahoo are losing to Google, one of the world's Internet Business Giants. For why they lose to Google is never a mystery really. Google is simply an accomplished business tactician. Let's just say Google knows how to please people, and attract business entities into their side, but this doesn't mean that Yahoo and Microsoft do not, it just means that among the three of them, Google is the best!

The two entities hope that when they merged, they could gain a potential winning power over Google. Seeing current standings, Yahoo currently dominates Asia, the largest continent in the world. If Microsoft merges with Yahoo, then they could gain the upper hand over Google in terms of ranking. The two companies will obviously become the top ranking company worldwide. If this is the case, then you can expect them luring business entities into their side, or so they hope. There are actually many reasons behind the merging other than the one stated above, and most of these are hidden beyond close doors. What Yahoo and Microsoft are up to is still a mystery, but one thing is for sure.. their intention is, no doubt, to dominate the market, and keep Google at bay.

Small Matters that mean a lot

Let's try to understand why the two giants loses to Google. There are actually a lot of reasons, small mistakes that had accumulated and had become a crucial factor for their downfall. Among them is technology. Yahoo and Microsoft has the money to muster the technology, but it seems that they don't know what technology suits them best. Another are the offers.. Yahoo and Microsoft offer goodies for people, but these goodies are actually not out of sincerity, they offer these goodies to make profit, yes, that's their true motive. They are what I can call a cheapskate, you see when you think that their offers are free, it's actually not, or at least not entirely free, and this sucks! Most of their services are also purchasable and expensive, something that most people would not go after. And when it comes to the Search Engine.. the main thing! They have this system where you can pay for a top-ranking position in the search results. This does not bode well for starters, as entities with the most money often wins the war here, it's an unfair fight if you use them for a battleground. This eventually leads small time business entities to look for another place, and Google usually suits them best. And in case you don't know.. most business entities are small time, and all these number goes to Google.

To Yahoo and Microsoft, these are small factors, but these factors actually helped in pushing them into merging.. why merge? The reason is simple.. it's because they can't stand on their own.. in the long run, at least.

Spamming a no-way to earn

Some people think that spamming is a way to earn money, but in reality, this method is the less productive method, not to mention - the dirtiest! There are a number of reasons why spamming is a pitiful and pathetic way of making money. It is useless because, nowadays, people are getting resistant to spam as they become more knowledgeable with computers, and guess what.. we are already in the 21st century! What dummy would think that people are still gonna fall for it? Well, maybe.. still.. it is illegal! Another reason is that, spamming is risky.. you got customers alright, but among them.. the cops!

Email service providers, nowadays, used filtering methods to screen emails, and separate the good ones from the bad ones. A spam email will more likely fall to the bad ones, and consequently, will have a less probability of even get noticed. And assuming you have a good product.. if you use spamming to endorse it, what good quality your product has will be lost! Think of it this way? Who would trust a product contained in spam? First of all, spam is illegal, so this may also mean that your product is illegal!

One more thing I would like to emphasize about spamming is that this lousy method does not target the right people. For instance, you give out spam emails about Viagra, if this spam lands into a healthy young adult, what do you think will happen? Well, congratulations, you got yourself an angry customer who may be spreading the word of how putrid your product is! So, if you really want to earn the best from your product.. spent your money for it.. endorse it the right way even if it's expensive, afterall, your product will speak for itself. Spam as what you think will save you money is gonna cost you a lot. Play by the rules.. this is how successful businesses work. Spamming are for losers!
