1-Dollar-Mail is a site that offers 1 dollar per email you read... when I read $1 per email, I immediately suspect scam. While $1 seems a lil bit realistic compared to scam sites offering enormous amounts such as $50, $100 per email read, $1 is still too much for a PTR site. If such a PTR site would really offer something like this, then they have to sell expensive ad packages to advertisers, however, this is not the case for this kind of scam site. Ad packages are sold at a cheaper price here, if this is how it goes, then certainly this site has more to lose than to earn. So, why are they offering this when they are at the losing end? That's when you start to suspect that this site is really up to something. As you can see, the reason is not because the owner of the site is an idiot. As a matter of fact, they know it very well. They know that they can't pay so they won't, and now you see who's at the losing end.
Always take note that PTR sites are usually low payers, somewhere around $0.001-$0.01 , this is because email solicitation is the cheapest way of advertising today, if a PTR site breaks this trend, then certainly, no advertiser would advertise on their site, and this would eventually result to their downfall. However, in a scam site like 1-Dollar-Mail, this is not the case, and unless you stop patronizing them, they will always win!
How Old is 1-Dollar-Mail?
On their page, I had noticed the texts "All Rights Reserved 1996." It means that this site had been on the web since 1996. If this is true, then surely, 1-Dollar-Mail is one of the oldest PTR Scam sites that's still online today.
